Benadryl killed baby Adam Seagull, day care death upgraded from accident to homicide

Benadryl killed baby Adam Seagull, the Shelton, Connecticut 4-month-old who died on March 22 at an unlicensed day care. Originally Fairfax investigators said it looked like the infant died of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). But it's been upgraded to a homicide in light of antihistamine findings. Authorities had no reason to suspect foul play as the child had no apparent injury, trauma or illness. But police say a toxicologist report found Benadryl in his blood.  Benadryl day care death of baby Adam Seagull upgraded to homicide
